Exciting news for Burnden Road Runners – we’re dipping our trainers into the world of Triathlon! Often a popular challenge for our members, athletes can now enter events under ‘Burnden Tri’ – we are now affiliated and official with our new Kit set to make its debut at Ironman 70.3!
We’d like to welcome our brand new Tri Captain, Mike Caine!
Ironman Mike is hugely experienced in the world of Triathlon and, with his knowledge and expertise in the three disciplines of running, swimming and cycling, is well on his way to making a positive splash in the Club. He will be writing up a Triathlon report, which will be incorporated into our weekly report here.
Here is Mike’s round-up of the previous two weeks of Tri-fun!
