“The 23/24 season for Burnden has now finished and I would like to tell you about the awards that our members have won.
Red Rose League –Anne Ferguson 1st V65 category, Gwen Kinloch -2nd V60, Steve Nolan – 2nd place V60.
South East Lancs League –Gwen Kinloch 2nd place – V60, Anne Ferguson – 1st place V65, Lyndsay Darbyshire – 1st place V55, Keith Thomas – 2nd place V65.
Team Prize – Ladies
Ladies’ Vet 40 – 2nd place Team
Ladies’ Vet 50 – 1st place Team
As Team Captain I am very proud of our Cross Country Team – for those members who have won awards but also the members that gave Cross Country a try – some of whom have not run XC since high school.
